Ceremonial Turn Over of Tablets of Mayor Jeanie N. Sandoval to Grade 4, 5, and 6 Pupils

A significant event took place at Santiago Syjuco Memorial School on August 30, 2022 , as the eagerly awaited Ceremonial Turn Over of Tablets of Mayor Jeanie N. Sandoval  to Grade 4, 5, and 6 pupils commenced. The occasion was organized to celebrate the generous donation made by the office of the Mayor, Mayor Jeanie N. Sandoval. These computer tablets were given to support the students in their educational journey and facilitate their learning experience during the period of blended learning.

The ceremony began with the school principal, Mrs. Crispina M. Herrera, extending a warm welcome to the attendees, including the Mayor,the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Mauro C. De Gulan, the Public Schools District Supervisor ,Dr. Ronaldo P. Santiago, local government officials, parents, teachers, and most importantly, the Grade 4, 5, and 6 pupils who are the recipient of the tablets. The program was designed to acknowledge the generosity of Mayor Jeanie N. Sandoval and to inspire the students to make the best use of the tablets in their educational pursuits.

The highlight of the event was the Mayor’s speech, where she expressed her commitment to education and emphasized the importance of technology in the modern learning environment. She shared her vision of empowering the youth through access to digital resources and how the tablets would enhance the students’ engagement and understanding of their lessons. The Mayor’s words were met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Following the Mayor’s speech, the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Mauro C. De Gulan took the stage to express the department’s gratitude for the Mayor’s continuous support for education in the community. He highlighted the positive impact that the tablets would have on the students’ learning outcomes and commended the Mayor for her dedication to improving the quality of education.
